Windows user profiles - not run

We are using version 2.2.1a.

Know it's not possible to use special user profiles for
Win98-workstations
located and downloaded from user home directory

Before version 2.2.1a the option in smb.conf
login path = \\%L\%U\profile
is working.

But since version 2.2.1a this option is not working.

Is this a bug or is there an other parameter in smb.conf
to set.
