samba with nis

Hello,

I compiled samba2.2.2 with  --with-nisplussam --with-nisplus-home and also
with some other options.
I just doubt how to authenticate user accessing samba by NIS. Can samba
accounts be stored in NIS server such as ldap or PDC? If so, hwo to organise
the data in NIS and how to configure smb.conf?
Is there some clues about it ?
