Need Help --- Sambaserver is not accessible

I posted a couple of appeals for help a couple of days ago but
I still can't run shared services from my linux system to 
my windows/ME clients. I ran through the diagnostic tests 
and noticed the "couldn't find homes" message in the output.
Could someone tell me what that means? 
Additional info is in my postings from last couple of days.

Running TEST 6 nmblookup  -d 2 '*' from DIAGNOSTICS.txt  gave:

Got a positive name query response from 192.168.1.101 ( 192.168.1.101 )
Got a positive name query response from 192.168.1.99 ( 192.168.1.99 )
