If you are transfering from one disk to another within the same box, and
if you have the experimental NTFS support compiled in your kernel (I'm
assuming that your new system is Linux), you should be able to mount the
drive *read-only* then "cp -R" your files from the ntfs partition to
your new ext3 partition.
