I tried the sign or seal modification still I can not join the domain. I
get the following error:
The following error occurred attempting to join the domain "corestone"
The network path was not found.
I can see the samba machine and access the share, if I use my
username/password. But still no domain access.

I've had exactly that problem, not solved it yet.
Mine joins the domain (through the network ID part of system) fine,
even lists users to add, but then wont add them.
When it reboots, it lists the domain (to log into), but any user I enter
fails with the same message you get.

p.s. I did do the sign-and-seal registry entry
