According to the sun admin, this is set to unlimited.
Also, from docs.sun.com he gets the info that compiling 32bit apps on Solaris
limits that app to 256 file descriptors, A 64-bit compiled program using
standard i/o can use up to 2 billion descriptors.
plimit (according to sun docs again) is an alternative, but that too seems
already be set to unlimited.
Perhaps we need to compile 64 bits, which is costly, as SUN charges much for
that compiler.
As this may be interesting info, samba is cc'ed again.
