winnt pdc and samba as repository

i have a NT SERVER serving as a PDC. now from the other side i have a samba
serving as repository for personal and public shares acces.
various questions:
1) in my smb.conf security = domain is right?
2) users logonto the pdc and the the netlogon.bat (that is in the NT SERVER)
maps //samba/personal and //samba/public.
how i do this in the samba side to set the permissions?
