File-locking issues with Shared DB files fixed?

Should have been more clear...

I'm using 2.2.2 on Redhat 7.2.  This has been a problem since version
2.2.0a3 (almost a year), I believe.  It was OK with 2.07, but I need 2.2.x
for my Win2K clients.
