Password expires today with Samba PDC

FYI: I tried to search the mailing list archives but apparently it's
broken..

Anyway, I've just finished a conversion from an NT domain to a Samba-as-PDC
domain with W2k/SP2 and NT4/SP6 clients.  When logging in, they are always
prompted with "Your password expires today, would you like to chage it?
Yes/No".

Even if I change the password, it persists..

I found something obscure about an smb.conf setting "password expire time =
0".  I tried this but testparm didn't see it as a valid option and it
didn't seem to fix the problem.

Any help is much appreciated..
