Configuring Linux printer to be usable by Win98 boxes

Have you installed the windows drivers on your windows client for your printer? The printer should
show up in your printer settings window.
Then, the share you configure for your windows clients won't be the same as
the printer queue used by your linux server. The windows clients usually use
a raw or unfilted queue, since windows filters the job itself, whereas linux
clients almost always send postscript jobs which usually need to be filtered
for all except postscript printers.
