Samba - net use

Hi all,
        i have been wondering why my mails are not being sent to samba
mailing lists recently. just sending out another mail with my problem again.

i have 2 pcs in this location away from my hq. i have the samba server in hq
and 1 pc from the end can connect using "net use" command but not the other.
keep getting it can't find computer when i can ping using hostname or ip
address. what seems to be the most likely problem?
