help broken pipe

Hi all

I am posting this the second time after having received no answer 
and also having found none searching the archives.
How do I get rid of those entries in my log files. I have four SAMBA 
servers configured pretty much alike apart from the shares.

I run 2.0.7 and have those entries only in three of the servers. They 
have "3com" and "Netelligent" NIC's but the entries are alike. I also 
installed 2.2.0 but to no avail. 

The servers seems to run all right apart from the weird occurance 
that it takes about 10 times as long to open a 17K Excel sheet 
than to open a 12MB PDF file. This is only true for some Excel 
sheets, others pop up all right.
