I bet you built the RPMs from source - right? There's a bug in the RPM spec
file.

It installs swat stuff under /usr/share/swat instead of
/usr/share/samba/swat - move it and swat'll work again.

Can this go in as a Bug report for samba-2.2.0/packaging/RedHat/ ?
