Hello Bill.
I've got it going.
You wouldn't believe in that, but it is true.

while i had all that trouble with files go missing, i had in smb.conf :
share name [tmp] located in var/tmp (on second server path to share was
/tmp/ica).
i renamed [tmp] to [share] and moved it shared dir to /var/aaa...
and magically all fixed now. yesterday i had an opinion of MCCALL,DON that
my problem could be something to do with how mandrake cleaning up temporary
files in tmp dirs, so following that opinion i've tried to rename share just
in case and moved it to some directory without tmp in path.
I'm not too sure at the moment, what exactly was the trouble maker (mandrake
clening up tmp directory or win2k taking linux share, named tmp as it's own
tmp folder, but ...magic.... after 24 hours online and quiet a few win2k
boxes reboots all files still there, all 3 linux samba server up and running
just great
Thanks a lot for your precious time
Kindest regards to all Linux users.
Alexander Moloksher.
