OK, need some help with Win2K clients real bad

I can imagine a machine that is running a local copy of the database will
work wonderfully. That, however kinda defeats the purpose.

I would not give up on Linux or Samba just yet. Some things just take time.
I'm just hopeing that someone has been able to figure out why. If the group
knows of something to try or look for, I'd be happy to test or look for what
I can.
