System password to login to SWAT

Hi!

I'm running a Samba server at a University Department.

I'd like to let my users change their "Samba password" through SWAT.
So i've done a few hacks in swat.c
Nothing much, essentialy i've adapted the interface and removed the other 
stuff.

I don't have password sync between Samba and the system, because i want to 
let my users have separate passwords.

Well...
As far as i can see, to initially login to SWAT, one must provide the system 
password...
Not the Samba password, which doesn't seem very logical to me.

Although i can live with that perfectly, my users will probably get confused.

Is there a way (or a hack) for SWAT to ask for the Samba password (and 
therefore, not the system password) in the initial login?

Of course i'm not much of a C programmer :-)
