I think that usually you should get just 1 login prompt dialog for the domain
(ie: with 3 fields user/pass/domain).
I'd try uninstalling "Client for MS Networks" and "windows filesharing".
reboot
reboot
reinstall client for ms networks and windows filesharing
reboot
