Don,

I did reboot my ts servers after I made the registry change and I did not
see any change in the behavior. I have a maintenance period coming up this
weekend and will try it again and let you know.

Thanks

Hi Drew,
I installed SP6, and rebooted my Terminal server, and it still works; each
one of my
ts client windows get a different smbd when they connect to my samba
server...

One thing - did you reboot your ts server after making the registry change?

Hope this helps,
Don

Subject: Problems Using the MultipleUsersOnConnection Registry Key in
WTS NT4

Hi.

I am running SAMBA 2.0.7 on HP-UX 11.00 and HP-UX 10.20.

I have tried adding the MultipleUsersOnConnection registry key onto my
Microsoft Windows NT Server 4 Terminal Server Edition servers, running with
Service Pack 6. After I make this change in the registry and reboot my WTS
servers all my samba connections from the servers are still being made with
one process instead of being split into multiple processes per connection.

I have placed the key into
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Rdr\Parameters and
have tried setting the registry key value to 0 and to 1 (although my
understanding is that the value should be set to 0). I have also tried
restarting the SAMBA processes on my HP-UX servers after making the registry
change.

Does anyone one have any ideas as to what I might be missing or doing wrong.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
