oplocks on Caldera

Hi list,
I tried today installing Samba 2.0.7 on a Caldera Openlinux eServer
version 2.3.1
When executing, configure complains it can't find any way to use locks,
aborts and naturally doesn't generate any Makefile.
The problem seems to consist in the absence of the symbols
"oplock_stat_t" and "OP_REVOKE" in fcntl.h
Those sumbols are effectively used in oplock.c
what did I miss ?
