I don't know the status of this but last I checked you just couldn't.
If I were to guess I'd say it's a protocol level thing, where higher
levels aren't properly supported.  I don't know though.

And ... each time you upgrade Samba, check it again to see if the
bug/limitation has been fixed.  Or fix it yourself.... (:
