Hello,

I am a happy newbie...

With the help of a two-brain-cell doc that I found at www.techrepublic.co=
m I
have managed to get a basic Linux-to-Win98 SEII connection working using
encrypted passwd's.=20
(After the reading the two-brain-cell doc the SMB Howto's started making =
sense!
I guess that tells you about the level of my Linux / Samba knowledge)

I need some help in finding a similar two-brain-cell doc covering the
use of Samba in connecting a Linux workstation to the above mentioned net=
work.

I am using Redhat 6.2 (2.2.14-50) that has Samba (2.06-9) included.
Here are the relevant (I guess) entries in my smb.conf file:
