Hello all,

does anyone have any idea what this means: (it is out of log.smb) and
whatever it is it makes my samba connection to windows really dodgy....
I have a win98se client and I am doing NT style logins. It use to work
and then I did a new build (s/w and h/w) for a new Linux server and now
it don't go so well...... :-( any ideas????

[2000/09/24 19:19:47, 0] smbd/oplock.c:request_oplock_break(1204)
request_oplock_break: no response received to oplock break request to
pid 896 on port 1039 for dev = 345, inode = 32658
  for dev = 345, inode = 32658, tv_sec = 39cd9739, tv_usec = 61975

it repeats every second until I kill the win explorer session with a 3
finger salute!

Help!! Please!! This is frustrating me soooo much.
