Samba Dropping Mounts - smb_retry: caught signal errors

Does anyone know where I can find a Redhat (rpm) kernel Upgrade to 2.2.18-
preX or 2.4.0-test8 as per Urban's suggestion to solve the Samba Dropping 
Mounts - smb_retry: caught signal problem?

The latest I could find was kernel-2.2.16-3.i586.rpm

I've upgraded the kernel to kernel-2.2.16-3 hoping I would be lucky but 
no such luck,

I also checked out http://www.hojdpunkten.ac.se/054/samba/index.html for 
fixes as per Urban's suggestion but also could not find a fix for my previous 
or present kernel version.
