I am running Samba 2.0.7 for Linux and having some problems viewing the shared directories on the Linux machine from the WIN98 machines.
It keeps saying that the 'Network is Busy' and doesn't show me any shared folders... However when I browse the network from an NT machine it works just fine... ?? Kinda weird...
Here is my smb.conf file:
[global]
load printers = no
log file = /usr/local/samba/var/log.%m
max log size = 5000
encrypt passwords = yes
server string = DemoSystem2
wins support = no
dns proxy = no
WORKGROUP = ldc
keepalive = 30
share modes = yes
locking = yes
security = user
preferred master = no
domain master = no
local master = yes
os level = 65
[ldc]
path = /home/ldc
browseable = yes
writeable = yes
[rt]
path = /
writeable = yes
browseable = yes
