Interfaces

I would like my linux computer to use samba only on my high school's internal
network.

I currently have my ethernet card set up to use a real IP address
(168.216.25.74/255.255.255.0); I would like the computer to respond my
internal network, some 10 dot addresses.

Can you tell me why this does not work:

   Open linuxconf and add the IP address 10.160.63.151, netmask
255.255.255.252 in the "IP aliases for virtual hosts" section.

   Then in Samba add this to my [global] options:
     interfaces = 10.160.63.151/255.255.255.252
     bind interfaces only = yes

This would allow me to see this computer in Network Neighborhood on a windows
95 computer, right?

Thanks,
