Solaris 8 and Samba 2.0.7 compile error

Thanks for the quick reply!
I forgot to mention that I tried that.  I thought that the GCC in the bonus
package was the 2.8x version and down loaded the following and installed
it.  (it's the pkgadd file and not a gz file even though it looks like it)
Received the same error message and log using it to configure Samba.

Anything with my environment?  (I did switch the /opt/sfw for /usr/local in
all the paths, etc. in the env. when switching gcc)

Anyone else with this problem?

interupted fork often means your compiler is damaged, or your shared libs
(libc and what not) are damaged. Try downloading the latest binaries for
