Samba crashing Debian TCP/IP stack ??

Yeah I got the same setup too.. I compiled my own version and I am running
it as a daemon. 
I do have a cheap hub and I do get a lot of collisions while using the
network.

Im running the OS on a k6-2/200MHZ with 32MB ram.

Have any more idea???
