Hi,
We have an application which creates a bunch of PDF files in UNIX.
SAMBA is running on the UNIX server. There is a Front-End application which
needs to access these on fly for a user action. Currently we are mapping a
drive to the Unix directory and send an open command for a particular pdf
file and Acrobat comes up as expected with file info. Problem we are facing
is every user who wants to use the application needs to have a Unix id and
setup in samba to access the directory where PDF files reside. Is there a
way we could avoid this as we could reduce a lot of UNIX id creation and
setup. If possible we would like to crt one ID and use that ID to read the
file in the program using that ID.

Thanks
Sasidhar
