Synchronization between Samba server & Nis server

Hello everyone

I got this very very BIG problem :

I have many HPUX station, and Sun NIS server on the same network.

I installed on one HPUX server the samba version 2.0.7 with this
following options:  with-nis , with-automount.

What should i need to do , when the user change his password at the
Unix-(NIS) 
there will be full synchronization between the NIS server (Sun) passwd
file and the smbpasswd file at the Samba server (HPUX).
so that he wont have to change his password twice but only once - on the
unix side .


I have this lines in the [global] section at the smb.conf file:

#################################################
        unix password sync = yes
        passwd program = /usr/bin/yppasswd %u
        passwd chat debug = yes
        log level = 100
        nis homedir = yes
#################################################


the nis homedir option is working good - when a PC user connent to the
[homes]
share he gets his home directory from the NIS.
But when the unix password sync dont work at all, when i change the
password with the smbpasswd program.
