printing and samba

I have samba 2.0.5a running on my RH 6.1 linux machine (intel), and it
does filesharing for my windows machine on the same network. Recently, I
tried to set up printing but have so far been unsucessful.
I have the printer set up correclty, because I can print to it from the
server, and remotely from other linux machines on my network. Here is
the section from my smb.conf file

[global]
printing = bsd
printcap name = /etc/printcap
load printers = yes
security = user

(other stuff)

[BJC4400]
path = /tmp
printer name = lp-Router
writable = yes
public = yes
printable = yes
print command = lpr -h -r -P%p %s

(other stuff)

Every time I try to setup the printer in windows, it tells me that the
printer is offline. When I go ahead and install it anyways, it tells me
that it cannot access the printer. I noticed though, that every time I
try to install the printer, the following pops up in /var/log/messages

Mar 29 22:28:41 router PAM_pwdb[1586]: authentication failure; (uid=0)
-> jeff for samba service

jeff is a valid user on the linux box, and it is what I logon as to
access smb shares, which work fine.

Any suggestions?
