Error while logging on..

When I try to do a domain logon to my Samba Server it gives me the
following error messages.  I have searched the mailing list archive and
could not find an answer, maybe it's the keywords I'm using.  Anyway, this
is the error message:

"The domain password you supplied is not correct, or access to your logon
server has been denied"

I have synchronised the passwords manually, I am not using anything tricky
that I may not remember or miss-type.
