Win2K and Samba 2.0.6

Our site has a RH 6.1 linux box running Samba 2.0.6. It functions quite well
with NT4 and Win9x stations, but has some problems with Win2K. I have turned
off encrypted passwords on the Win2k system (we are on a private, fully
switched ethernet segment). The Win2K system requires me to actually enter
account information when connecting, despite the fact I am logged in as a
valid user on the linux box. The connection does work after entering the
user info though. Even the case is the same. Also, smbclient can't "see" the
Win2K machine. This is Win2K Professional, release version (not a beta).

Command output:

[root at scintillus log]# /usr/local/bin/smbclient -L guinevere
added interface ip=192.168.1.114 bcast=192.168.1.255 nmask=255.255.255.0

Any ideas on this one?
