help with Windows 98 Second Edition

Hi,
This is Guido, a SAMS Teach Yourself SAMBA in 24 Hours' reader.
I need some help, so i decide to contact you, i'm sorry if i taking your 
time without any permission.

I use SAMBA i my little company.
Now i having problem with MS Windows 98 Workstations. Any DOS, Windows 95 
or Windows 98 "First Edition" works just fine, i can say perfectly ! !.
But a couple of days ago a customer of mine received some HP BRIO Pentium 
III, 64 MB RAM, with MS Windows 98 Second Edition 4.10.2222 A pre 
installed.
>From this kind of workstation i can see my linux box, i can connect any 
network drive, but is unusable, we get "network not ready" all the time.
Do you any known problem with this version of 98?.

any help will be welcome.
