Samba & Windows

I have gotten Samba 2.0.6 to work on my network. It joins the domain
(finally, though I do not know if it will be perminant yet) and I can access
it with win'9x. The problem I am having is I have several users (which are
on the Linux system) that need read/write access to a couple directories.
Everything in Samba seems to be set correctly, but I cannot get it to write.
What do I have to do to the directories in Linux to allow the users to write
to them. (They can already read them.) Thanks.
