What distro are you using, as without that 'Linux 6.1' is meaningless.

If you are using RedHat (or derivitives, Mandrake etc.) then the RPMs
are usually either installed or available on the CD. 

either way the RPMS and source is also available from the samba web site
(www.samba.org).
