Hello!
I have use the SAMBA on the RH 62/2*i386/300 clients/1GB RAM/4000 users and
found that:
1. Sometimes the main smbd dissapears (then I need restart samba -
frequency daily)
2. if clients are NT and they get files (large 500MB) then they smbd can
grow up to 500MB of the memory - it is sure some error in memory allocation
(i use oplocks)!
The samba is 2.0.7 (but 2.0.5a, 2.06 was the same - only difference is
frequency of dissapearing main smbd it is simply more often (on 2.0.5a was
weekly))
How can I debug it (my logfiles are hundreds of MB)?
Best Regards
