I'm useing Samba (2.0.7) on an Compaq TRUE64 (Digital OSF) Server.
Everything is working fine, but the dfree-script does not work.
I think it's not even called.
The corosponding entry in my smb.conf is:
[global]
server string = Samba %v Server, xxxx
workgroup = xxxx
keep alive = 30
dead time = 15
dfree command = /usr/local/samba/bin/dfree
The script it self works fine (indepente from the user). The output is
like this:
bash-2.01-> /usr/local/samba/bin/dfree .
2000000 1415878
bash-2.01->
When the script should be called the log-entry looks like this:
[2000/05/31 16:46:05, 4] smbd/uid.c:(181)
Skipping become_user - already user
[2000/05/31 16:46:05, 3] smbd/dfree.c:(218)
disk_free: Running command /usr/local/samba/bin/dfree .
[2000/05/31 16:46:05, 3] smbd/dfree.c:(227)
Read input from dfree, "/usr/local/samba/bin/dfree "
[2000/05/31 16:46:05, 3] smbd/dfree.c:(241)
Parsed output of dfree, dsize=0, dfree=0, bsize=0
[2000/05/31 16:46:05, 3] smbd/reply.c:(1215)
dskattr dfree=1024
[2000/05/31 16:47:05, 3] lib/doscalls.c:(342)
dos_ChDir to /
So the script seems to be called, but...
...the log-file looks the same even if /usr/local/samba/bin/dfree does
not exitst,
... a file loging each access to the dfree-script indicates that it
was not runing
and
... the same configuration worked fine with Samba 1.9.17p4.
So what's my mistake?
Thanks
