login scipt at server end

though i am sure that this query must have been addressed before but i
couldn't acces the archives

i want to run a script when a users logs in --> at the server end not at
the client

similarily i would like to run a script when he logs out

there is a logon script option, but that runs the script at the client end
pre exec and post exec options run at the server end, but when users
connect to a share, not when they login

please help as soon as possible
