want information about samba file server

  hello sir,

       Myself an engineering student in india is thinking of delivering a 
seminar on the SAMBA FILE SERVER. i'm not getting enough information to talk 
on samba. I will be grateful if please send me information about samba. it 
would be of great help if it is in report format.
