How to perform an authentication challenge against a MS Domain Co ntroller?

Hi.
	I am currently trying to implement NT LanManager authentication
for the Squid proxy server. In order to do so, I must perform an
NTLMSSP authentication challenge against a DC on behalf of the
proxy client.
I am waddling through the Samba sources to see if there's something
that might help me, but I'm quite confused. Can please anybody point
me in the right direction?
