I'm maintaining an archive at

  http://samba.cadcamlab.org/lists/

but it's not currently searchable and goes back less than a year.

Mine may end up being a mere stopgap measure; Tim Potter is working on
better list management as we speak (`samba-cvs' was switched over
today), and I have reason to believe it will include better archive
management as well.
