Linux user shares not showing

Hello. I have SAMBA set up with a windows98 client. I can only see the Linux 
user shares if I type \\SERVER_NAME on the Network Neighborhood address box.

My set up includes a ISDN LAN MODEM-ROUTER giving DHCP services to four 
other computers.
