printing from nt4

Hello!
I am running unix/samba as printserver in an mixed network with mostly
NT4 clients.

A nice thing would be if clients could use printerdrivers located on an
server as they could with an NT-server. 
Users could then just point out their printer without specifying any
printdriver.

I have read PRINTER_DRIVER.txt and accordning to that text this is not
possible with NT4 clients.

My questions are:

1. Is there any way to get this working with NT4-clients? 

2. Other suggestions to get "Connecting to Printer" as easy as possible
for clients. Printerdrivers might be installed locally but installation
should be "automated".


I am using Solaris and Linux boxes. Printers are mostly HP.
