Windows 2000

| Has anyone yet had the opportunity of integrating a Windows 2000
| Professional machine into a network with Linux/Samba ??

| On our existing Linux/Samba machines we have implemented plain text
| passwords for NT and Win95/98, does anyone know wether the plain text patch
| for the NT will work with Win2K Pro ?

I have OpenBSD 2.6 + Samba 2.0.6 + Windows 2000 Professional
(Release) working using plain text passwords. You can't use the NT
patch.. you need to find the Windows 2000 patch. It's come with Samba
2.0.6.
