Virus warning

Earlier today I executed an infected file which I received from one of
the mailing lists I subscribe to. The file was infected with the
Freelink virus which is an e-mail worm replicating itself by sending
itself as an attachment in an email to all people and mailing lists in
my Address list. If the message escaped your anti virus software, you
received a copy of the virus trough the samba at samba.org mail address/list.  The
subject of the message was: "Check this", and the message body was:

Have fun with these links.
Bye.

Attached to the message there was a file named LINKS.VBS. Please
delete the entire message, and avoid doing the same mistake I did and
run the file! My anti virus program (F-secure version 4.0x) did not
scan VBS files...

Tidligere i dag kjørte jeg en virus infisert fil som jeg hadde mottatt
via en av mailing listene jeg abonnerer på. Filen var infisert med
Freelink viruset, som er en e-post orm som sprer seg selv ved å sende
en kopi av seg selv til alle e-post adresser som er i adresseboken
din. Dersom meldingen unslapp antivirus programvaren din mottok du en
kopi av viruset via samba at samba.org adressen/mailinglisten. Emne på meldingen
var: "Check this", og kroppen var:

Filen LINKS.VBS var også lagt ved. Slett hele meldingen, slik at du
unngår å gjøre samme feil som meg. Antivirus programmet mitt (F-secure
versjon 4.0x) sjekket ikke VBS filer...
