MAPI support from samba?

Hi,
	This may seem totally irrelevant, but I want to ask it anyway :)

	What more is needed for samba to support MAPI, to download e-mails
from an Exchange Server?

	I have seen that it uses port 139 and I assume that it also uses
some sort of RPC mechanisms to send/retrieve e-mail.

	Could a program like "mapiclient" be written to download/send
	e-mails?
