Hi to everyone, I installed samba 2.0.6 in DECUNIX 3.2-C and I created
a service called PUBLIC for export a directory from unix to NT 4.0.
In this directory I put a file from unix and a program, called GENTRAN,
in NT system get this file.
I mount the directory , X: device, with this command in NT:

 NET USE X: \\10.170.3.1\PUBLIC password /USER:username /PERSISTENT:YES

All works fine but if I don't copy a file from unix for many hours and
after I copy a new file, the NT system don't get this file until I touch
a device X: , in NT , with a simple command, for example DIR.
In Unix system , the file log.log in samba directory, I see this
message:

[2000/02/03 21:36:44, 0] lib/util_sock.c:(474)
read_socket_data: recv failure for 4. Error = Connection reset by peer
[2000/02/03 21:36:44, 1] smbd/service.c : (568)
pc200 (10.170.3.6) closed connection to service public

What can I do?

Thank's for your help
