For the Windows clients, do they have TCP/IP installed with the option
"Bind NetBUIE to TCP/IP" set?  Samba (or should I say
Linux?) doesn't support the NetBUIE protocol -- not that you'd want to use
Microsoft's noisy proprietary protocol anyways).
