Samba/Macintosh question (solved?)

Hi!

Calvin and Marc:
Thank you very much for your help.

Indeed i believe the answer lies in a configuration file called 
AppleVolumes.default which now only has a "~" entry indicating the home 
shares.

I believe the problem is now solved, but i'll only be able to check it next 
Tuesday, since in Portugal, all public services (i work in a University) 
will be closed next Monday.

First thing in the morning next Tuesday is to check this out.
