Thanks to the people who have suggested what is wrong.

What you said was read and I did see where I was doing the wrong thing.


(alot of snipping out of what I said here as now things have changed.)

With slight alterations to the documents!

The security should be:

*    security = share*

*not* as per the documents supplied (in my archive)

*[global]*
*    security = user*
**




Now can you help me how to get the Amiga to see the Pee Cee drives?  X-)
